New Year’s Eve celebrations are back, and these San Diego hot spots are ready to help you ring in 2022!

Were you hoping to attend a big festival or concert for the New Year’s Eve celebration, but decided to stay local with friends? Head down to Gaslamp because barleymash and ginger’s will be hosting Electric Barley Countdown (EBC) this year! Both of their spaces will be EDC themed – glow sticks, glow necklaces, neon lights, banners – with two main stages. The Barley Stage will be upstairs and will be playing your favorite EDM hits throughout the night, while the Miami Vice stage will be downstairs in ginger’s jamming 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s bangers! Bottle service inquiries for the Barley Stage and punch bowl table service inquiries for the Miami Vice stage can both be sent to brittany@barleymash.com. And for all our Irish friends, barleymash will also be celebrating the Irish New Year at 4pm with Tullamore Dew! There will be a photo area, a green confetti cannon, and a toast at the bar when the ball drops in Ireland.

Found just down the street, The Smoking Gun is an eclectic restaurant and bar offering a more lowkey approach to this year’s New Year’s Eve celebrations. Their theme will be “Dancing in the Moonlight”, and they’ll offer a complementary toast to East Coast time (9pm PST) to start off the night! Several bottle service packages will be offered to attendees and the crew will lead countdowns to midnight. Sip on a glass of champagne (maybe a couple) or wet your whistle with a signature Smoking Gun cocktail!
